Character Info
Scientific mutants
Following is a list
abilities acquired by one
of the other scientific programs going on
years before or at
the same time as Adam McCoy's.
Also
in our world the comic books we read,
Superman, Flash, Spiderman are still made,
so some programs might be named after a
comic book character.
This grouping
there is only one of each subject, so please
make sure you don't use one already in use.
We might allow you to have more then one if
you ask first.
Children born to
either cured or scientific can also be born
with one of these abilities or one from the
cured list.

The
Super Soldier Program-Represents
the pinnacle of human physical
perfection. While not superhuman,
the subject is as strong as a
human being can be. The subject can
lift (press) a maximum of 800 pounds
with supreme effort.
Abilities: The
subject has agility, strength,
speed, endurance, and reaction time
superior to any Olympic athlete who
ever competed. The Super-Soldier
formula has enhanced all of the
bodily functions to the peak of
human efficiency. Notably, the
subject's body eliminates the
excessive build-up of
fatigue-producing poisons in
muscles, granting phenomenal
endurance.
Limitations:
They are subject to all human
vulnerabilities, although there
immunity to diseases is
extraordinary. (Taken)

The
Flash Program-The
subject possess superhuman strength
primarily in the lower body, as part
of the body's adaptation for
running at superhuman speed. The
subject
can leg press approximately 550 lbs.
under optimal conditions. With the
upper body the subject could lift (press)
slightly more than an ordinary human
person who engages in intensive
regular exercise could.
Abilities:
Possesses the ability to move at
superhuman speed and superhuman
metabolic vitality. Canrun at top
speed of 50 miles per hour for up to
a half hour before fatigue impairs
the performance. At lesser
levels of exertion, can function
optimally for hours.
The subject's
entire body is oriented toward the
rigors of high-speed running. The
cardiovascular and respiratory
systems are more efficient than a
normal human’s. They metabolize an
estimated 50% of the caloric energy
content of foodstuffs (normal human
use is about 25%). The chemical
processes of the subject's body is
so highly enhanced that the body
does not generate fatigue-poisons,
the normal by-products of locomotion
which force the body to rest, as
quickly as a normal human being
does. The tendons and bones somehow
became stronger in order to
withstand the stresses of high speed
motion, and joints were smoother and
lubricated more efficiently than a
normal human's. The heightened
metabolism affords greater
resilience to impact related
injuries. The reaction time was
about twice as fast as that of a
normal person.
Limitations:
Except for the speed the subject is
just as susceptible to injury and
illness as any other human.

|
The
Breather Program-They
possess the ability to withstand any
and all gaseous poisons of all known
varieties and lack of oxygen
for up to 2 days.
Abilities:
The subject can breath gasses of any kind,
carbon, helium, or go for an extent
of up to 2 days without the need for
oxygen. The subject can survive underwater
for example for 2 days without an
oxygen tank, but they are subject to
the same pressure restraints as
normal humans.
Limitations:
Limited usage of holding breath and
the subject is just as susceptible
to injury and illness as any other
human.

The
Atlantian Project-
The subject possesses the typical
attributes of Homo mermanus: gills
to enable the extraction of oxygen from
the water.
Abilities: superhuman physiology to
withstand the extreme
water pressure changes beneath the
sea, blood circulation enabling the withstanding
of freezing temperatures,
and specially-developed vision which
is more sensitive to the green
portion of the spectrum enabling the
subject see in the murky depths.
Limitations:
Subject is only good for underwater
attacks. The subject is just as
susceptible to injury and illness as
any other human.

The
Box project-Scientists
came up with a way to save those
that couldn't be saved by McCoy's
work. An android.
Abilities:
The android is stronger then humans,
can lift about 500 pounds, and is
almost as fast as some mutants with
super speed. Is almost invulnerable
to most attack.
Limitations:
Said Android is infused with
human consciousness, but the
transfer doesn't work properly and
most of who the human once was is
lost. The android has to start
all over again to learn who and what
humans are like. Is susceptible to
electrical attacks, missiles and a
few more.
|
Subcategory: Another
version of the Box project was
attempted, but instead of
transferring the human
consciousness, body parts were
replaced with cybornetic implants.
Abilities:
The replacement part exhibits
increased ability. If an ear
is replaced, hearing is increased
ten-fold, an eye the same.
Limitations: The
subject is only as limited as the
body parts replaced. Also
bodies with replaced legs can not
keep up with the strain and most
have died. The
subject is just as susceptible to
injury and illness as any other
human.

The
Gambit Project-Subject
is implanted with a
microchip in his brain
to tap into that other part of
our minds we don't use.
Abilities:
Subject has
the ability to tap into
the potential energy contained
within an object and transform it
into kinetic energy. When the subject charges an object with
kinetic energy and throws it at a
target, the object releases this
energy explosively on impact. Can also throw small forces of
the energy at people if desired.
The affect it has on the
individual hit depends on weight,
health, age, things like that.
Limitations:
The drawback of this program is the fact the
subject's powers are drawn from the sun.
Cells hold the charge that
allows the subject to tap into the
kinetic energy. To long of
being away from the sun weakens
the subject and can bring subject back to
being just a normal human.
The subject is just as susceptible to injury and
illness as any other human.
