Powers/Abilities:

Molecular Immobilization - the ability to slow down molecules and literally stop time within a certain area and Molecular Combustion -The ability to speed up molecules in an object or life form so it explodes. These two powers tie into one another and Melinda inherited from her mother. At this point she has to be in the same room as those she is freezing or blowing up.

Hobbies: Horseback riding, smoking, cooking.

Physiological Background: Because Melinda had some over protective family members she likes to act out and often gets into trouble. She doesn't always think things through although she is very intelligent. There are other times when she knows exactly what she wants to do and will become stubborn in making sure it happens.

Personality Quirks: Loves to play pranks and jokes on others. Has a great sense humor and takes things in strides. She enjoys long walks and horseback riding. Isn't much of a morning person but manages so long as she has a coke or some coffee to wake up with.

History:

Melinda was born the youngest child to Piper and Leo Halliwell, thus she was a little spoiled and over protected especially by her brothers. She started going to magic school even before she was out of diapers. Magic was a part of her life and she accepted it with ease. She's known Samuel and Spencer Jenkins all her life and gets along with both. In fact at school they hung out quite a bit, often getting into trouble together. As a threesome they were sometimes called the Musketeers by the other students.

Melinda did well in school though she hated when people said she looked like her mother. It probably didn't help that she inherited her mother's abilities and talents for potion making and cooking. Most teachers did not think of her as being the instigator of pranks because she looked too "Innocent" but in fact she usually came up with the schemes that would land the three of them in trouble. Even though she was very good friends with Spencer and Samuel she had a big crush on Sam that no one knew about. She tried dating a few other boys but she always thought of Sam.

Melinda went to Magic School for all her school years. Upon graduation she decided to train in the culinary arts. She enrolled in the local university where she's a student full time. She does though work one day a week at Charmed Again, her mother's restaurant to gain practical knowledge. She still sees Spencer and Sam although not as much as she would like to, especially Sam. She longs to be able to ask him out but she's too afraid to lose such a good friend.
