Powers/Abilities:

Besides the basic powers of a magical witch, such as scrying and spellcasting, Brooke has the rare ability of Transfiguration along with Omilingualism . Transfiguration is the power to change objects, animals or even people to what ever the owner of this power wants. The larger the item the harder it is and too big of an item she can't do at all at this time, for example a car is too much for her. She has transformed herself and her brothers but no other humans. She's leery of doing so because it is difficult but also she is afraid she might not be able to change them back. Omilingualism is the ability to understand, speak and read any language without learning it. Brooke isn't sure how many languages she knows only that when it is needed she can understand it.

Brooke is also an expert in akido and judo.

Physiological Background: Brooke is very comfortable with her abilities and being a witch. She grew up knowing what she was and learning to use her powers. She is though cautious about telling outsiders that she is a witch. She had a bad experience with one boy who when he found out became very cruel to her. Other then that she is very friendly and easy going. She's not a big drinker mostly due to the fact that she's very sensitive to alcohol. One drink is enough to make her tipsy and two is enough to make her appear to be wasted. Her brain still functions and she can speak clearly but she can't walk a straight line or pass any other sobriety tests.

Personality Quirks: She likes to go hiking on her own and spend days at a time camping. Some times while doing this she'll do spirit quests to help her sort out her life and what she's meant to do.

History:

Brooke was born the second child to her parents. Her father was born and raised in Brooklyn New York, and he was a witch. He has the ability of Omilingualism and it was his way out of a poorer neighborhood. When he was eighteen he joined the army and because of his language skills went to become and officer and thus a translator for the army. He was stationed in Viet Nam for a time and met Mai Ling there. When she became pregnant Mark married her. It was only after they were married that he told her he was a witch. Her mother had a hard time accepting it at first but eventually came to terms with it. Also because of being a witch, they adopted Kanan from his father. Because her father was in the army he traveled a great deal and they didn't settle down until Brooke was in high school. From an early age though she exhibited her powers and her father made sure she was trained by sending her and her brothers to her grandmother during the summers.

When she was sixteen her father was stationed in D..C and it appeared he would be staying there. For the first time

she went to the same school for more then a year. While in high school Brooke started dating a boy named Tyler. He was your typical all American boy. They went to dances, movies, and made out. She thought she was in love. They had been dating about a year when she decided to tell him about being a witch. At first he thought she was joking and then he thought she meant that she meant she was Wiccan but didn't think she meant having real powers. Once he did believe he turned mean and cruel. He called her some very foul names, he even hit her before he took off leaving her at the park she was at and threatening to tell everyone. Although her father wanted to beat him up for hurting his little girl along with her brother wanting to they didn't. They did though cast a spell that caused him not to remember being told. It didn't erase Brooke's memory of it and it made her leery of ever telling another person.

Brooke went on to college to study art and graphic design along with languages at NYU. She dated a bit there but after what happened with Tyler she just didn't want to risk being hurt so didn't date anyone for too long. Once she had her bachelor's degree she decided she needed a change. She wanted to continue to get her Masters in Art and Graphic Design but she wanted to move out f the area. She figured it was due to all the traveling she'd done when she was younger and that she wasn't used to staying anywhere too long. She'd been in New York for four years and D.C. for three before that. A change was needed. She checked out a few schools and found one where she was able to not only get a scholarship for but a part time job as a Teacher's Assistant with the Language Department. It was in California, an area of the country she hadn't been in before. She was looking forward to the change and her future there.
