Kalin really doesn't have any special abilities other then how he has been trained by the priests at Vatican City. He has patience and resilience that has no limits. Because of his training he is very good at performing rituals against demons and is very good at listening and offering advice to those around him. Having preformed a few exorcisms he has become someone of authority on the matter.

Hobbies: Reading and collecting rare and unusual artifacts. Love to collect books, stemming from ancient history to modern ideals. Surfing, Skiing, both snow and water-skiing. Collects DVD movies and loves to go skeet shooting. Likes being out doors, loves to go camping, biking would rather be outside then inside and is an avid golfer.

Psychological Background: Kalin is by nature a person who is quiet. That doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy being with his friends and having a good time. If anything he comes by it by his mood at the moment. Loves to have fun and is an easygoing man. Kalin struggles with who he really is since he grew up in a orphanage rather then normal family style home.  

Kalin will only talk about his life to those he feels won't tell anyone else. Fact is he still struggles with the fact that he killed two priests cause they wanted to help him clean up, and he wasn't ready. Still sees their blood on his hands even now. Something he'll never forget.

Personality Quirks: Kalin prefers to have daily quiet time. Not really for meditation but for personal reflection. He's also known to just up and leave for a few days where he will go camping up in the mountains. Likes to have some kind of meat at every meal and is a totally addicted to coffee, energy drinks and soda.

Very little is known about Kalin prior to the age of sixteen. It has been said that before that he lived on the streets of Rome, where he stole and provided for himself any way he could. In regards he was a good kid, though time had delivered him into some bad areas and influences. Such as drugs and alcohol, which made him made one of the biggest mistakes that would affect him for the rest of his life.

While high, Kalin out with his 'friends' came upon two priests. They had been dispatched from the Holy City to perform a exorcism. However the two would never reach their destination as they ran into Kalin who while not intentional, killed them. Some say he did it cause he heard voices telling him to do so. The act of taking their lives cost him his in the long run. Kalin went into hiding and soon found himself on the run, though he was never captured by local authorities he was captured by The Order, an underground organization working under the cloak of the Vatican.

Comprised of priests, they took the boy and cursed him to serve the church and do their work when they couldn't do it. Because he had killed priests on a mission of mercy his life had become stained bound to honor the will of the Order. It was simple, you serve, or you die an unknown death. Erased and never remembered. Kalin made the decision to live and serve, as they had wanted.

They took him in at the age of sixteen, cleaned him up, and began to teach him the right and wrong things in life. It took a while for them just to get through to him and get him to trust them, once they had done that they began to teach him languages, from Latin to English. All of which be soon became fluent in. Languages turned into measured form of martial arts to help him keep himself centered.

Started out he was just a courier for the church, but it soon became more. Taking him into dark places the church couldn't publically go. He found himself performing exorcisms and defending the church from enemies, both internal and those from the outside.

As time went on his duties expanded and he soon found himself being told that he was to join a group that worked with the church on a few problems of the past. Known as the Center, Kalin found himself being assigned to the Eastern Branch of the The Center in North Carolina. Finding himself there now he struggles to fit in with because he is now having to trust working with others and opening his private life to new individuals.
